Tours are offered of the 300-acre sugar camp year-round. The sugar camp features antique farm and sugar camp equipment, an educational video and a chance to sit down with Richard and family members and ask about the maple industry. Brant loves meeting and sharing his passion with others.

In 1832 George Stull started producing pure maple syrup in Somerset County. He passed the technique and maple recipes on to his family and son, William, who would later pass it to his son, Richard. Richard Brant is the current owner and operator of Brantview Farms Maple. He started running the operation in 1968 and continues the maple tradition and family business today. Eight generations of family and friends have eagerly awaited early spring and the start of maple syrup season. Each new maple season is a chance to make fresh, pure maple syrup but even better – an opportunity to gather and spend time together. “There’s a lot of anticipation in the first run of the season,” says Brant. “It’s my favorite part - that first run.”
Brantview Farms Maple taps over 10,000 maple trees every spring and the sap is gathered, boiled and used to create one of the finest, single source pure maple syrups in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Richard Brant shares, “Our maple syrup is my favorite product. It’s pure – straight from our sugar woods to the jug.”
Brantview Farms Maple produces 100% pure, single source maple syrup, maple sugar, maple cream, maple hard tack candy, maple cotton candy, maple coated nuts, maple taffy and maple sugar cake candy.
